Halo Fan fiction Part 1

Part 1

It was a cold dark night on Pandora. Humans inhabited the planet a few years ago in 2512 and since then the UNSC had set up camp with the locals, they are known as Navi. Master Chief Petty Officer James Bond was checking his mission debriefing for his next assignment, neutralizing remnants of any Space Nazi's left over from World War 11 (WWXI). MCPO Bond was on his way the planet 'Reach' because the UNSC had proof this was the location of their last hideout. Normally he would focus his efforts purely on the C.O.G.E (Coalition Of Galactic Empires) but his orders came directly from The Director who was the head of an organization known as The Agency, which was behind all of the UNSC's special operations and science groups. They replace ONI a few years ago after their outstanding success with their super soldiers known as Agents, Bond knew this program too well because he was a member of a special group of super soldiers known as Agent-II's.
Chief was on his way to the space port with his buddy Batman. They had grown up together in the streets of Gotham and they both knew how to fight because they were part time vigilantes when the C.O.G.E attacked an outer colony they decided to sign up to the UNSC to take their crime fighting skills up a notch. At the time they didn't know much about the C.O.G.E just that they had three leaders known as 'M.O.M' he never understood what it stood for but it consisted of Vice president Palpatine, General Megatron and Director of Truth, each had their own empire that spanned across Galaxies around the universe. Truth was in charge of The Covenant, Megatron was in charge of a huge armada and Palpatine was in charge of the biggest fleet out of the three so was deemed the highest out of the three.

When Bond met up with his fellow Agent-II's in the hanger he gave them each a nod and they all hopped aboard the Pelican and headed for Reach, all Pelicans were fitted with FTL drives now days so it was easy to make their way to Reach in a Pelican. His team comprised of Himself, Batman, Sam Fisher, The Cole Train and Commander Shepherd. They had mild conversations whilst in the Pelican but it was kept short because it only took around 10 minutes to travel to reach, which was half way across the Galaxy but FTL drives were really well made these days.

Bond and his team (Blue Delta team) stepped foot on Reach and were ready to get set up for their mission in Sword base when suddenly Prof. Farnsworth burst into the hanger bay and told Bond that he had bad news....that he has registered massive seismic activity in the past hour and insisted that it was the fabled creatures that are known to inhabit the planets core. Bond tried to calm him down saying these stories were not real and only myth but then suddenly the ground shook and sink holes started appearing all over the place. Farnsworth started shouting "It's true...it's the Locust" Bond's mission would have to wait! He had bigger problems then Space Nazi's. Half an hour into the blood bath the humans MAC cannoned all the major cities to try and destroy the locust for good but it did not work Bond's suit AI detected ships entering atmosphere, Bond ordered the AI, whose name was Glados, to find out what was going on then continued fighting. The AI got back to Bond and explained that the C.O.G.E was fighting The Flood and in an effort to escape they stumbled upon Reach. The flood instantly started landing and infecting everything on the planet but it met a new foe that was also infecting everything...The lambent. Bonds whole team were either now lambent or flood bio messes. Before Bond could escape Palpatines flagship "The Death Star" shot the planet with a huge laser beam and it exploded into chunks of rock.
